Collage Ideas

craftgrrlSooo here's the deal, every year since I was small my mom has made my brother and I a school bus cake on the first day of school, and we take a picture of it. So I'm making my mom a collage of all the pictures, there's about 12 of them. I just dont know if i should design it on photoshop (i'm in college for graphic design) or if i should do a handmade collage. I already bought a 20"x16" frame. This is what i started so far on photoshop:
