Someone posted here a long time ago about the old-fashioned sugar eggs that are made of colored sugar and decorated with icing, and often had window cut-outs with little dioramas inside made of icing/flowers/marzipan. I was watching Martha Stewart today on the Food Network, and Lo! There was a whole installment about sugar eggs! It was really cool, and aside from the drying time, which can be time consuming, they're super easy to make.

Anyway, here's the synopsis and recipe: Old-Fashioned Sugar Eggs. (As far as I can tell, this info is only on the Food Network site - I couldn't find it anywhere on Martha's site).
