Put me on display
Feb. 9th, 2009 03:44 amI tell you what, setting up a table is long and tiresome work.
I'm a lazy person.
Rather than spending ten to fifteen minutes setting up a table, and then spending about the same (or longer) breaking it down, I made things much simpler by building something to display my jewelry on. It didn't cost me much: a total of less than $8.00 and it holds my necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

the old way. Lots of display boxes. How annoying.
My new display:

It's less than 2 feet of PVC cut into different lengths, a couple elbows, a T and a metal pipe piece to weigh it down, spray painted the whole thing silver (because I really wanted pipe but didn't want the weight or the cost of pipe) and BOOM. Awesome display. And since I didn't glue the joints together, I can expand it if I need to make a bigger one in the future or I can change the pieces out to look different. It also folds up to transport better. Awesome.
I feel so accomplished.
