Removing wax from clothing
Apr. 21st, 2003 07:23 pmPerhaps this isn't the best place to be posting this, but I reckon that other crafters would have encountered this problem somewhere along the lines....
While extinguishing a candle (one I had made, no less), I managed to tip it over and spill quite a bit of the melted wax onto a shirt of mine. Having never encountered such a predicament before, I've tried several things (scrubbing, picking off what wax I could, etc.) to no avail. Has anyone a suggestion on removal of the wax? (I fear that it's going to be something painfully simple that I'd've never thought of...)
