craftgrrl | Thrift Store Sewing Machine Table Find/Question

I bought an old sewing machine table from a thrift store today for $10. Its not one of the ornate antique ones like I used to have so I'm definitely going to paint it.

But I need help deciding on a color for the table and the drawer pulls.

My sewing machine is a sea green color. Not sure whether to paint the top too, where the finish is a different color, but I probably will paint the whole thing.

Please help! All ideas appreciated. So far I'm considering a dark brown with black, white or silver handles, but I'm not sure at all and need some other ideas. My style is usually muted natural, earthy tones and my other furniture is dark wood tones and black wrought iron. I'm also debating on a little bit of wood-burning design somewhere on it too.
