Hi, I've been lurking this community for a while now and I just decided to join it. I have a question.. I'm trying to teach myself how to crochet (because there is nobody I know, or who lives close to me, that know how), and I'm not having the best luck finding a tutorial. All of the videos I have been finding either go much much too fast, or are too far away for me to really be able to see what's going on with the hook - same thing with the pictures, they are never clear enough. Now, I'm somebody who is a good learner once I can get going, but it's the getting going. I forget that I'm a beginner, and if I find a video that is good and all, but moves too fast, and I can't find myself moving along at the same pace I get really frustrated with myself. I need to find a video that is nice and slow, goes over points, and is close enough to see what's going on. I've read numerous times and watches countless videos saying that I need to draw this yarn through this knot and blah blah, but I have never been able to see a good visual to know what the heck to do.
Ah, I'm probably going on and on, but if you happened to read this, I would appreciate any and all replies.
