Hokay..so- my boyfriend stays over with me twice a week, and he only really has one blanket for here and at home. Because of that, he tends to forget it a lot and so I end up sharing one of the layers of my quilted cocoon with him so he can be warm.





I figured getting him a blanket to keep here would make things easier. Then I got the idea to make him a quilt with his favorite colors and some skulls. He loves skulls too.

He actually picked out the skull fabric himself. Unbeknown to him, I was shopping for him to begin with and I was all..."Hmmmm...Gee...I GUESS I could find something to make with this..." when he pointed it out to me. XD He totally bought it. I couldn't have planned it better myself.

I want to surprise him with it Wednesday next week and be like "Weeee~ll. Since you forgot YOUR blanket...I guess you'll just have to use this." And hand over his brand new made-with-love skull blankie of manliness.



I jumped the gun a little bit...Its not quite done yet, but here's the interesting half at least. The backside will be plain black, and stuffed with several sheets of batting.
