I took some pics of my vanity area and what I did above the bed...I hope I can post this here as I do have some questions and want to show a creative way to resuse something...

The two tea towels on either side of the round owl I found at Anthropolgie. They are hand embroidered and soooo cute.
Dave my husband painted the owl on the round piece of wood for me for Valentine's Day last year.
My question is, could I just get a piece of foam core or something to pin the towels to and cover then edges with ribbon or what do you think would work? I hate to just have them lookin the way they do.

Joe is comfy on the bed. He loves to stretch out when the bed is made and it's the best time for me to photograph him to. I flipped the bedding over to the small stripes for something different. I was getting bored with the large three bands/stripes. And yes I know the towels are not even. LOL. I didn't have my hubby there to level things. That why I want to mount them on something.
Here is my vanity area:

The hooks are from Urban Outfitters and I thought they would be perfect for my necklaces:

Do any of you know where I can find other neat looking metal hooks that I could add to the other side of the mirror?
Top of the mirror:

The clutch may be new but has a beautiful retro feel that I just lust over. And the pics are actually from greeting cards. What do you reccommend I do to make the pictures look more fun? Embelleshments of any kind? I'm open to anything at this point cause the mirror is kind of old and looks a little funky and doesnt match what I have going on.

Some of my earrings are on what is really a candle holder. I took the glass cup out and am looking for something better to fit in there for my post earrings. I also hang bracelets on there too. The little cup I found at Retrospect which is a consignment shop on South St. in Philly. It's a vintage piece and it holds my rings. The rest of the stuff is just perfumes/body sprays/etc.

I think I got the white hands dish with a bird on it at Urban Outfitters but can't remember exactly. It's holding all my perfume samples I get from the nice old ladies at department stores. Hubby has some cologne there too next to my lotions. Any ideas on how to hold my sample perfumes better? The bowl is only so big so when I go digging through some fall out and it's just annoying.
Thanks for looking! I would love to see pics of everyone elses little vanities or dressers they have their jewelry and stuff on so I can get some inspiration on better organizing! Thanks for any help you can give.
