Hi all - so I got a sewing machine for Christmas. So far I've used it to hem pants and that's it. I really would like to learn to sew clothing though. What my wardrobe is lacking right now are some cute springy/summery tops... but I have no idea how to choose a pattern that is easy for a beginner. I would love it if somebody from this community could recommend a simple but cute pattern. I am usually around a size 12 in storebought clothes.. I have a fairly big bust and broad shoulders. Thanks so much in advance! (Oh, and if there's a free pattern... that would be wicked... but I don't mind buying one either).
