I just finished a bag! I have made a few of these, but this one is for ME and I'm very very happy with it! I finished crocheting the body of the bag a few days ago, then got some lining fabric, and a couple of handles (tried two different types, happy with these ones). I'm so excited and I can't wait to show this off!!!

In the beginning it was my messy desk, plaid pjs, and Law and Order. I increased over three rounds, with 2 sc in the 4 (then 8, then 16) end stitches.

Round and round and round I go! (It's dizzying, but as you can see it definitely worked)!

The finished body of the bag with color accents. (The colored stripes are from yarn that I spun myself!)

Figuring out how to cut the cardboard for the bag base.

It fit really well! As you can see, I had some funny ends that needed to be woven into the piece. The tails are actually the ends of those in-woven pieces.

Here's the VERY purple liner with butterflies.

TA DA!! The finished product. (Handles are reinforced from the inside with doubled-up cotton fabric).
