Apr. 25th, 2003 04:30 pmfirst, let me preface this by saying i'm new. i have a question for you pro beaders out there, as i've only done a few amateur projects so far. i've searched through the memories and haven't found quite the answer i'm looking for, so's i aks you:
i want to make a necklace, but the way it is going to be constructed it might work better if it were threaded with something relatively elastic-y, as it will cover many variations in the neck. i'm using medium/large plastic beads, so width or gauge isn't a problem. however i need something relatively durable and long lasting. preferably light weight. i worry that elastic will look crappy and the knots will fall out under the weight.
am i making sense?
