My boyfriend made a super idea to make some face pendants with moving parts and while that sounded like a super idea at the beginning after 4 hours and more swear words that I can count I finally came up with some that worked. On the group shot the lower two were my first attempts and while they move they don't move as freely as the silver and blue and the red ones. Each pendant has one moving gear.




This one is my favorite and the silver gear moves really well! I also really love that deep blue color that is behind the gear.

This one is titled "Shipwreck Sally" This red one took like four coats of paint to get that deep red color to be as warm as it turned out. The moving gear is in the cheek on its left side.

This one is titles "Shipwreck Artifact" I love the colors on this one and I really wanted it to feel like something that you might find in a ancient shipwreck. behind the moving gear are some tiny broken gears that I added in (you almost can't see them unless you know what to look for)

This one still needs to be wire wrapped since I didn't add a loop at the top in the beginning. I also really love the way the paints turned out on it! I hope I can get that granite marble look again!
