x-posted in a couple places
May. 21st, 2009 12:45 amThis is a bag that I made for my cousin's baby shower. I gave her the bag, the two bunnies (named Humphrey and Henrietta Hare) along with a copy of the velveteen rabbit book.

This is a close up of the flower/button combo I used to loop the bag closed

The back of the bag. A simple sc granny square with a bow sewn on.

the front of the bag with the bunnies inside.

I put a pocket inside to make it more handy.

The handles are on it in a weird way but by the time I figured it out they were not coming off. Plus I figure this way, if the bag lasts, it will be easier for Jillian (the baby) to play dress up with it.

Humphrey and Henrietta Hare themselves. The scarf, bow, and faces are all stitched on and are infant proof.
I used a pattern for the front and then just kept increasing till it was big enough. The edging is a simple chain lace.
Oh yea, the bag is made with vanna's choice in rose and rose mist.
