I haven't posted or crafted in a long time--I've been in a funk.  I'm still in it but while searching the clearance section at Michael's, I saw the charms and had to get them. $2.99 well spent (especially since I've still got 4 of each left for other projects).  Then I had to find the perfect beads to go with it.  I wanted something natural and rough looking but gorgeous.  I found it.  Add random silvertone beads and spacers and other stuff and we've got the new bracelet and necklace combo I've made for myself. It's casual but still classy and I love it.

The message is simple: Be Here Now. I read the book by Ram Dass when I was unhappily settling with my ex husband and though some of it was not all that understandable, for some reason, it's stuck with me through the years.  When I wear them, I remember. Most of it was common sense or absoulutely nonsensical but it made me feel better. And that's the point of this set.

So far, it works.







Maybe I'll read the book again, just as a refresher. I'm older by a few years and maybe a little wiser and happy with my NEW husband of almost 5 years. We'll see if I understand it more or if it turns into a bunch of mumbo jumbo.

Hopefully not but... *shrug*  At least I got pretties out of it.
