forgive me for the horrible phone pics, i was too lazy to get (find) the digi.

so, i'm working on this collar i've wetfelted. i didn't realize that it was particularly coarse on the skin, but i had a friend try it on and it irritated hers...



my initial question was whether i should hide the embroidery work on the back and HOW? i don't think it looks too bad as long as i did a nice, tidy job. but now i'm considering somehow adding a backing to the entire thing... but it has lots of waves and folds, since i did a shibori technique.



any suggestions are much appreciated.
