Skirt from Vintage Dress

I bought this dress from a vintage shop (read about it here) and went to resize it.
I carefully cut off the collar, sewed down the buttons, cut the waist seam and the extra waist fabric off, gathered the skirt, sewed the skirt back on to fit my waist, and pressed the whole thing and thought it was perfect when I noticed the sleeves were too deep.
So I went to fix that and made a mistake, when I went to take out those mistake-stitches the whole bodice ripped! And it was unfixable. So, in sadness I decided to make a skirt.

I quite like it anyway. I did it mostly the same way as this. Although I did add belt loops and a skinny belt too. (It was horrible turning it inside out.) All in all, I'm happy with what I ended up with.
