Today I found an ugly old lamp shade in the dumpster and I made it cute!

I originally planned to leave the bottom edge the original brown but now I think I might cover it with a ribbon. Alas, I will have to buy a ribbon for this purpose so not today.

It has pictures of my partner and I, her fav animal (giraffe), champagne glasses, her fav flower (cala lily) etc.
