Jul. 30th, 2009 08:53 amSo, crafty girls, I'm hoping someone can help and/or offer some advice.
I'm starting to play with diamond glaze (actually, it's dimensional magic, but it's the same I think). I'm testing it out on a few things just to see what it does, and I'm having an issue.
Everything I've tested it on so far has cracked. Well, the glaze cracked. Little spider-wed type cracks coming from the centre outwards.
I've tested it mostly pieces of chipboard or slightly thicker pieces of scrap wood I've found laying around, but also on cardstock. It didn't crack on the cardstock, but it did curl it quite dramatically.
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I mod podged the surface beforehand just to seal it, but can't think of what could be causing it to crack :/
