Steampunk Messenger Bag
Aug. 7th, 2009 05:07 pmSo in a few weeks, I start my first semester at Ringling College of Art and Design as an illustration major. So I made a messenger bag to carry all of my books in. I tried to make it look steampunk in style, as I've been trying to steampunk my wardrobe lately. But anyway, I hope you all like it, I've tested this with several highschool yearbooks in it (and our classes were huge at our school) and it seems to hold up really well. Anyway, Images are behind the cut! Hope you all enjoy this :D

the dirigible was done with the freezer paper technique

Shitty Lighting, but oh well.

blurry close up of the button/pleather strap (sorry about the blurriness some of these were taken in a hurry)

and with myself as the model. Again, my apologies about the blurriness

Edit: Forgot to include a picture of the lining :)
Thanks for checking it out!
