Preserving teeth?

craftgrrlI have a teething puppy right now, and I've managed to save two of her baby canines. I was thinking about using them to make matching pendants for me and my boyfriend. Does anyone have any advice on what (if anything) I need to do to preserve them? Also, if anyone has ideas on jewelry... the teeth are pretty tiny, about 1/4 of an inch long.
