Eh, just's just jump straight to a cut with some pictures behind it of a big bag and a couple costumes.
First, a bag. I loves me some big pleated bags, they're super easy to make and are comfortable to wear. This one was made out of a remnant I got for a couple bucks. I decided that the skulls weren't "me" enough, so I added some ruffles and faux piping

The lining is a hideously awesome camel/poodle vintage fabric that my grandma gave me a few years back. I only had about a yard of it. I may use the other half yard as an accent on a shirt or something.

The costumes aren't my best work, but I made both of them in 5 days because I wanted something that wasn't an anime costume for Dragon*con the other weekend

Both have some thing I'm going to change before I re-wear them, and unfortunately, the hair buns were beginning to fall off (I was extremely tired when I put them on, as it was the last day of the con) and didn't secure them well enough. Both however, were made fully freehanded, I just slapped the fabric down on the floor, and prayed I didn't miscut.
