hi guys! i have perhaps a stupid, but at least seemingly easy question that i can't seem to figure out by my lonesome. I recently acquired a necklace that I love, however it is yellow gold, and I hate yellow gold. Now, it's not real, and I'm trying to figure out a cheap, maybe even home remedy-style solution to this problem. I want to turn it silver. I'd like a nice shiny silver, but I'd really take anything other than the oogly gold it is now. I tried silver jewelry cleaner, even paroxide, hoping maybe I'd even tarnish it because frankly black is better than yellow to me. But now I'm down to thinking maybe I should just paint it with say a shiny nail polish? Maybe this sounds like a really cheesy idea. Maybe a craft store around here would sell some sort of silver leafing substance or dip (though the necklace is very small and basic). I don't know. Sorry to bother with such a mundane question but i guess I usually just use silver pens in cases similar to this :) if you have any experience with something like this PLEASE let me know. I promise I'll post a picture post in the future so as not to be so annoying. Thank you so much in advance
