I made me a purse!

I was sick of not having a good purse or not having a more 'me' purse so I made one. I used Simplicity pattern 3531. I got some really great and cute fabric from Hobby Lobby and here it is. All of it is hand sewn, I think the next one I make will be sewing machined. This took a long time, and I probably should have used that time for studying. This purse can hold a lot too, I walked to the grocery store and bought a big thing of vegetable oil and various other heavy things and the purse did just fine as a grocery bag as well.














The inside has three pockets along one side, I think the pattern wanted me to put three more but the fabric cutout page didn't show I had to cut out that much fabric, so I went without the extra pockets. Worked out just fine.
