its 6 feet long, about 22 inches wide

I used two weights of bamboo, a heavier one for warp, a lighter weight for weft. I used bamboo for its drape, its shine, and the fact I could use the leftovers for embroidery.

I averaged about 15 ends per inch, and there's 13 colors in total, all dyed by me. which meant I wound all the warps in separate bundles one big one for black and 2 different bunches for each of the 12 other colors, then 13 bundles of weft colors, using the heavier warp yarn for the black in the weft too. I wound all the weft on paper bobbins so I could use a boat shuttle.
I used an 8 harness loom, it took me an afternoon to wind all the bundles, an afternoon to dye all the colors, three days at an average of three to 4 hours to prep the warp on the loom, and then about 5 days at 3-4 hours to weave it all. the edges are finished with hemstitching and fringe. I took these pics before I went and steam blocked it and pinned it out in the back.
I'm prolly going to get about a B. XD
