More monks.....
Jan. 4th, 2010 10:00 amOne of 4 saddle seat covers to match my teapot cozy...

Made of more of that satin brocade with monks. The center piece is quilted with white stitching to 3 more layers of fabric, and edged in black dupioni cording. The sides have been topstitched down along the edges, and were interfaced.
The seat ties have red decorative stitching on the edges.

And all together....

These took about 16 hours total from cutting to sewing to complete, and there are about 20 pieces making up each each seat cover.
But they were worth it.
TTFN!
