I'm trying to get through all those WIPs I have hanging around, whether they're a basket of blocks (like these) or pieced tops ready for quilting, before I begin my new year "for real".

For the quilting, I practiced pebbling some more and threw in a bit of my "squiggles" to break it up a bit as well as "straight" lines in the diamonds. (You may recall I almost never actually quilt anything "straight" unless I'm doing honeycomb quilting.)
I had a lot of these blocks around in matching colourways - I originally intended to make a queen sized quilt for my youngest son out of them, but he sort of outgrew the brights while I was fussing around, so I put some of the solids into the back of this baby-sized quilt.

If you're interested, I'm doing an (admittedly odd) giveaway of the remaining blocks and some red sashing at my blog. There's enough for another baby-sized quilt.
Thanks for looking!

And as usual, for more detail, clickable pics, etc., you can check out my blog
