Who else remembers the days of craftgrrl being a booming, busy community?

Hey everyone, I've been a member here for yeeeaaars and recently started getting back into hardcore crafting. How is everyone?! Being in college and living in a tiny apartment can put a damper on crafting. But now I work on an alpaca farm where my job is 50% animal care/training and 50% delicious fibery goodness. (if you live in NJ please come visit us!)

Here are some pictures from my first dyeing experiment: 



We used acid dyes (natural dyes coming soon!).  Here some handpainting being done to roving. We did do kettle dyeing too but I didn't get pictures. 




I handpainted a  color way of reds, oranges, pinks, and yellows (different dyes and dilutions).  The other half of roving was saved for my second ply.
