Crazy Drunk Tote
Feb. 3rd, 2010 06:51 amI'm working on three quilts at the moment - all of which are labour intensive and therefore, taking a LONG. TIME.
So, in defiance of both lengthy projects and those annoying groundhogs (damn you winter!); instead of working on those, last night I decided to make something that welcomed spring. My crazy drunk tote!

I just crazy quilt pieced and then combined those pieces with a drunkard's path template.
I always like to make the back of tote bags different than the front (sometimes you feel like a nut sometimes you don't);

And with this seaming technique I'm using, the bag is fully reversible,

So you could "wear it" three ways.
It was nice to finally finish something - even if it's a small project.

And as usual, for more detail, clickable pics, etc., you can check out my blog
