I use hollow acrylic domes in jewelry--specifically, to protect small animal bones on cabochon settings.

I posted something like this about a month ago, but this one is new; he has a little bee friend instead of a dragonfly friend, but apart from that, the basic concept is the same. Brass, garnet, clock guts, rat friend!

This particular rat was eaten by an owl, so rest assured that I didn't slay him for my purposes.

What I love about the domes is that you can turn the charm and see all the intricacies of the little skull.

BUT not all my skulls fit into the 30x22mm hollow domes I have, and these are the absolute biggest ones I can find on Etsy. (The rest are the magnifying kind that don't have the internal depth that I need.) I messaged the person I bought them from and asked her if she had seen any larger ones anywhere, and she directed me to Kit Kraft, but their ellipses aren't quite deep enough, I'm waiting to hear how deep the domes are (but they look a bit TOO deep for jewelry), and in any case, I'd prefer ovals to circles.

I get the impression that these are more of a scrapbooking/papercraft supply than a jewelry supply, and I don't scrapbook, so I'm asking you guys. In short, here's what I need:
- Clear hollow domes, preferably oval-shaped, but the material doesn't matter (I'm fine with glass OR plastic)
- With an internal depth of 3/8" at least
- And length/width measurements of at least 1.5"x1.25" / 40x30mm
- NOT magnifying!

Thanks in advance!
