[identity profile] aylara.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] craftgrrl
A few weeks ago, I posted some items for trade to this community. One of the individuals who responded was [livejournal.com profile] guppygrrl and so I sent her some super cool 50s pinup girl/bowling fabric. She was going to supply me with some knitting needles.

Since then, I have tried to contact her numerous times, and while she has found time to post in her own journal and in this community several times over the past few weeks, she will not respond to me. I tried directly e-mailing her and responding to comments she has left in [livejournal.com profile] craftgrrl. I was polite in every instance, and she has decided not to speak with me.

I do not know if she is unhappy with the items, or if she received them. Because of her refusal to speak with me, I assume she has decided to rip off the girl who is trying desperately to make ends meet with an unemployed husband, a five month old son, and a $7 an hour retail job.

So be careful folks...people will take advantage of you no matter what your situation it seems. I think karma will take care of things, and maybe it was just my turn. I know I have benefited from the generosity of other individuals on this group, and on [livejournal.com profile] knitting, and for that I thank those of you who are responsible and honest.
