Spray paint a fake Christmas tree?
Apr. 15th, 2010 05:56 pmI want to know if anyone out there in LJ Land has ever (successfully) painted a fake Christmas tree? And if so, how? I'm looking for a tutorial, or a solid how-to, or paint recommendations, or... pretty much any info/advice from someone who has actually done it. I'd just hate to spend $$ (at a thrift store or garage sale, since I'm hella-cheap) only to melt the plastic because I used the wrong kind of spray paint, or have all the needles clump together because I used the wrong technique for spray-painting, or something else stupid (I'm prone to doing stupid things, unfortunately).
I Googled and searched the memories (and used LJSeek), but I was hoping for something more specific than "Just spray paint it!"
I'm also hoping that if I start painting now, the paint smell will air out in time for the holidays XD
Thanks in advance!
