Diamond glaze questions

craftgrrlI bought a Diamond Glaze-type product by Deco Art and had some questions about it. I decoupaged a plastic headband using Mod Podge and now I want to make it waterproof.
I thought maybe this glaze would work, but I don't see anywhere on the bottle where it says if it is water soluble or not. And I tried googling, but I can't find out whether the glaze will make the headband too stiff to wear, either. Anyone know the answer to these questions?
