Blame 'Antiques Roadshow' for this one

I discovered this nifty sewing accoutrement while watching 'Antiques Roadshow'. As part of a proper lady's sewing kit, was a little leather book with 'pages' made of fabric for keeping one's sewing needles. Called, a needle safe.
Tired of having needles disappearing into my pin tomato never to be seen again, I of course had to make one.
Finally got around to it this afternoon.
Leather cover, with a thinner grade for the spine (made of scraps from my leather rem bin). leather straps, with little buckles (salvaged watch band buckles), and double ply fabric pages made also from scraps from my rem bin. This really cute fabric made by Jo-anne's that had olde fashioned globes on a offwhite background.

The name of the pattern was 'Experience the world' Which I used on the front 'page' because I'm corny like that.
The pages were stitched all the way around, then pinked to quaintly fray over time.
6 pages in all, all of which are already full, and categorized ie: novelty needles, tapestry needles, long, short, honkingly huge (what is photoed)

Final size when closed: 4" x 3"
This is all.
Tootles!
