Snow globe help
Nov. 13th, 2010 01:58 pmHI all! This is my first post here, and it's a question...or rather, a seeking of advice from those on here who are better at this sort of thing that i am. Most of the craft like things I do are cross stitches, but I saw in this months Martha Stewart Living Magazine homemade snow globes and i thought that it would be a great things for my kids to make for grandparents and stuff for Christmas.
It's pretty easy, and I can get most of the things to make them cheep or free, I was just wondering about the glue that it calls for. It says to use silicone glue for both sticking the figures to the lids of the jars and for gluing the jars closed. I was wondering if it would be possible for me just to use like hot glue or something like that. I wasn't sure if I needed to use that glue cause to would be the most water tight or what. Any advice would be appreciated.
