want to learn to make mediocre necklaces like me?! READ ON!

A while ago, I made triforce necklaces. After that little venture into jewelry-making, I got cocky. I says to myself, "HEY, I'm awesome! I can make all the jewelries I want, and I want to make glass pane pendants." So I set out to do so.

Tonight I embarked on an epic jewelry-making journey, one full of fail and triumph and ultimately more frustration than I would have liked. I wanted to make little glass pendants with flowers and the like between the panes, and here's how it went down:
 

1 - Get together all the tiny, flatten-able flowers and greenery you want to use, and flatten the crap out of them until they surrender and dry

2 - Score and cut glass pieces. Realize you suck immensely at this. Ask your pops for help. Discover that your glass scorer was shot, then magically find a new functional one! You're on top of the world!

3 - Sloppily lay out all your flowers, and clean all of the glass really neurotically well since it will be sammiched together for all of eternity.

4 - Use copper tape to hold the panes together.

5 - Admire all eight of your beautiful necklaces to be! Don't worry, we'll be destroying a good few of them in the next step!

5.5 - Although not pictured, here's where you start soldering! Take your lead-free solder, flux, and soldering iron and proceed to DESTROY THREE OF YOUR BEAUTIFUL CREATIONS. DO THIS BECAUSE YOU SUCK AND HAVE NEVER ACTUALLY DONE ANY OF THIS BEFORE, AND ADDING HEAT TO YOUR EXPERIMENT WREAKS HAVOC AND DESTRUCTION.

6 - Pull yourself together, and wearily congratulate yourself for not failing entirely and being left with five pendants. Thank every deity known to man. Lastly, file a little and clean everything up.
