Dec. 27th, 2010 07:03 pmI made these for my stepmom for Christmas using this tutorial

I've never sewn with zippers before because they've always scared me, but it was really easy (or else I would have stopped with one pouch!) I really like the covered zipper ends. It makes it look fancy, and I think it actually makes sewing the zipper in a little easier. The fabric is Normal Rockwell Flirty Fifties from Quilting Treasures that I ordered online. My stepmom is all into martinis and I like vintage/retro stuff, so this fabric was perfect. I also ordered myself some Kokka fabric while I was at it, and I can't wait to use it. nom nom nom. Merry Christmas, indeed!
