Coffee smell

craftgrrlwondering if anyone has used coffee as wood stain
and if so...is there a way to get the coffee smell to go away?
may be a stupid question...but i didnt want to go buy a whole thing of stain for this tiny box im making for my boyfriend...but i also dont want to send him a coffee smelling box....help!
