Christmas ... well, it's a while ago now, but it's the time of year when my brain really goes into creative overdrive. Or at the very least, is more creatively active than it is during the rest of the year. Last year, I came up with a few necklace designs for the geekier people on my Christmas list ...
This necklace is based on the Fibonacci Sequence, and is made of hematite, glass, and nickel beads:

The design really only works as a short necklace, because the hematite gets quite heavy if it's any longer! I will probably try to find some equivalent glass beads to do a super-long version.
This is a Solar System Necklace, for my partner's science teacher mother:

(I made one for myself, as well!)
Now that the holiday season is over I've begun thinking about putting together some stock to do some craft fairs during the year, and I think these designs would be good inclusions - if the original recipients don't mind, of course!
