I'm usually a jeweller - in fact I haven't sewn for years but hubby and I signed up for our first ever sci fi con and I wanted him to play dressup :o)

This is the character I was aiming for (John Crichton, Farscape)



And this is the vest I made for him (I did mine too and I did the gun holsters as well but don't have any decent pics). They were done pretty much by eye, using an old black leather waistcoat as an approximate pattern for his







He was pleased (it was a surprise).
