craftgrrl | I can't identify this!

To make a long story short.. I have this choker made of this flocked/velvety/fuzzy string or cord material and I have NO idea what it's called! I'd love to get more of this and make chokers and bracelets and whatnot of my own, but I can't find any in stores around me and I haven't found much online because.. I don't know the proper term for it!

It's soft, fuzzy.. Seems like flocked cord or something. It obviously comes in different colors and stuff. I just don't know what it is called.

Can and of you identify this? It's driving me crazy! XD
