grad work has been trying to kill me, I swear. this semester, in addition to our normal assignments, our department head challenged us to make a miniature art piece.
dolls under the cut


so I made two dolls on the dual meanings of fetish. the one in red is in a VERY old chocolate box lined with silk, head and limbs out of sculpy, body cotton, hair soysilk and its all stained with walnut ink to make it look older. she is about 3 inches long.
the one in pink has a head and limbs made out of paperclay, body of stuffed cotton, face drawn on with pencil, hair out of soysilk, dress I crocheted out of what is either tencel or silk. the case for her is an altoid tin with a window cut out and a small peice of glass put in, lined with stained dupioni. she is about two inches long.
so I think I've rambled on enough, what do you guys think?
