[identity profile] graverobbing.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] craftgrrl
About 80 percent of my crafting is knitting, but in the last few months (and after reading Subversive Cross Stitch), I've been interested in cross-stitch! I started out doing simple words and other things like that, but recently have gotten into doing some pretty ridiculous samplers.

The piece on the left I did for a work friend (because we fight the good fight every day we work), and the piece on the right was just something I thought would be awesome to cross-stitch. In case you didn't know, it's the Danzig logo.

On the left, a birthday gift for a friend of mine - like me, he loves the Misfits, horror movies, and things like that. I initially made the pattern to be black and gray, but decided that purple would be more fun. On right, my favorite sampler to date - the Pabst Blue Ribbon label. Can't get much sillier than that.

Finally (and something I just finished today), was my take on this Han Solo cross-stitch that was the talk of the internet for awhile. I thought it would be great on black instead of white, and this is my version.

I'm trying to get better at posting and being a part of the crafting community (at least better than I have been). Besides the one I mentioned, all other patterns are my own. In case I forget to post here, I'm gonna work on updating my crafty blog more often as well, which you can find here. Feel free to leave criticism, positive or negative!
