My first post here -- I do jewelry stuff

I just finished this piece. You know I always find it hard to guesstimate the time I spend on a piece because I paint something one day, finish it up, put it aside, and finally use it months later. Anyway these were raw brass stampings that I colorized using lumiere paints and metallic ink pens. I just finished them with an acrylic matte spray finish. I used a brass crescent half ring for the base and "riveted" the colorized brass with a simple paper brad so I could get some spin on the pieces. But because the back looked really ugly and not secure at all I then glued brass filigree over the brad findings which lost me the spin on the watch faces but I still have it on the colorized findings. The red gear in the middle was not colorized by me -- I bought it that way. It hangs from a simple brass rolo chain with a lobster clasp.
