My friend found these small wall hangings for really cheap at a craft store. They were originally dark green. The front is a glass window that opens.
I painted the front leaves with glitter 'craft twinkles' paint and the inside of the 'door' blue. I also painted the back blue.
I found Alice pictures (scans of the 'woodcut' style art' and matching quotes. I couldn't get a good transfer going, so I printed them and glued them on with all purpose craft glue. My Mom is a huge Alice in Wonderland fan, so I'm sure she'll love this gift.
