does it count as spamming if i just tell you guys that the link for my NKOTB selling page is in my user info? i know some of you guys were interested.

just to make this post more relevant i guess, i bought some cute fabric at walmart today and i plan to make some nice summer skirts out of them. and i got some thin grey sweatsuit like material from the $1.00 a yard pile that i plan to make some nice beach/workout shorts out of. i will let you guys know how they turn out. :o)

i've never made shorts before, and the only patterns i can find are for doll clothes. i doubt enlarging those patterns would work. :o)

and randomly, marble magnets were all the rage on mother's day. now my mom wants me to make more! i am also making some for my sister to go along with her keith haring clock. should be cool since she likes the ones i made for mom. alright kids. that is all.

Okay this is going to sound like one of the stupidest questions ever, but I didn't see anything in the FAQs...

How do you sew on a button? hahaha, like I said a dumb question, but I have nooo clue how to sew and would like to start.

Any help or links or anything would be really appreciated! Thank you :)

does anyone know anything about tea staining paper to give it a weathered look? i have a creative writing project for english and i need to give the illusion of old, beat up paper. how do i go about it? will i still be able to run the paper through my printer when it's dry?

thanks!

hello, my name is Lauren (i am new!), and i'd much appreciate some help from you crafty folks :D you're all just so darned creative and knowledgeable!

i'm going to make a bag out of vinyl, but before i start and then realize i'm doing it all wrong...should i be reinforcing it with cloth or are there any other tips you might be able to give me? i've never sewn vinyl before and i'd like to keep my frustration level low on this project.
vielendank!
