Some Bracelets.
Apr. 28th, 2011 02:58 amHello all,
I seem to find that I forget to post my projects to the communities that I am a part of, so I figured that since I was uploading photos to Facebook, I'd upload them here too.
I dabble in all sorts of things, from sewing (my passion, and biggest strength) to knitting and crocheting. Tonight I was working on a few bracelets.

Sorry for the huge photo..... it won't let me resize it. Anyway, this was originally supposed to all be on once bracelet, but my friend (whom I made this bracelet set for) has such tiny wrists and chose such large, intricate beads that I didn't want them crowding each other. So I made these instead. There will be one more charm on the right bracelet (with the purple flower), but it's a surprise for her, and I don't want to spoil it. The heart gave me trouble, but it was worth it.
I couldn't get a clearer photo... The chain and the pentacle were bought, but I replaced the jump ring on the pentacle, and added all of the other charms. I'll likely take off the bells, as I hate repetitive noises, or take the clappers out, but I like how they look. This one was much simpler to do, and now I want to make more like this!

We were supposed to have matching chains, even if our details were different (we were doing a "friendship bracelet" thing) but my chain decided that it didn't want to work. Fortunately, I just got a fairly plain chain bracelet, so I added my charms to that.
