craftgrrl | a lizzard skirt made of an umbrella :D

XDDD yeah, one of my favourite umbrellas broke and I didn't wanna throw it away because of the cute lizzard-picture in it. I thought about what the hell am I supposed to do with it, but after a while I got a brain strom: I'll make a skirt of it!! And so I did 8D

I'm sorry, FOR ONCE the quality of the picture is good, but the shape of the skirt doesn't show at all ;___; oh well, I hope you get the idea of it....

I think some people want to know how I made the skirt? Unfortunately I have no pictures of the phases, but it wasn't hard at all actually... I just cut a hole in the middle of the umbrella, as large as the size of my waist. Then, I folded some tulle under it and sewed the whole thing together. In the end I added the beautiful ribbon to the hem.

The reason why I show you the skirt only with the corset, is that the waist looks absolutely HORRIBLE XDDD I was in a terrible hurry when making the skirt, I had to finish it to the concert I was going, so I really didn't care about the quality of the waist 'cos I knew it will be covered by the corset XD sorry about that...
