I refinished and reupholstered this chair. Here's the before:







To tone down the redness of the wood, I used onyx black wood stain applied with a soft cloth and then finished it sealant.

I put the new fabric right over the existing seat cover using a staple gun and then glued the trim into place with a glue gun.
