My oh so clever daughter made a couple of guitars for her boyfriend and I wanted to show them to you.  They are both music majors in college.  She drew the shapes and my husband cut them out for her.  The one is covered in different papers that have musical notes on them, put on with Mod Podge.  The 'strings' are wire.  She free-hand painted the other with Calvin & Hobbes because they are his favorites(no infringement of any copyright intended and no profit made).  Then she gave them both a good coating of polyurethane to finish.
