Fabric pinecones

craftgrrlA fun way to use up all those little scraps of fabric you have lying around! I give you: FABRIC PINECONES.
These are the ones I made. I had a bunch of 1" fabric squares, so I used 2" and 1" styrofoam balls. I think i might tie a ribbon on them and hang them from our tree.

big balls. I mindlessly pinned while watching breaking bad.
the little balls. I had originally done a pine all in the black/white fabric, but it was too contrasty and you couldn't see the individual pinecone petals, so I broke it up with the white fabric as well.
